The books or the music in which we thought the beauty was located will betray us if we trust to them; it was not in them, it only came through them, and what came out through them was longing. As I was checking my exegesis papers, I realized that I have not been as thorough as I should have been. There are a lot of errors in there in interpretation and in the commentries...anyways, that's why I'm studying the thing (exegseis).
